WaterStart Launches New Brand and Website to Further its Mission

Over the last several months, the LVGEA significantly bolstered its efforts to enhance WaterStart (formerly Nevada Water Center of Excellence) and is proud to announce they have moved forward with a new brand and websiteBuilding on prior experience with WaterStart, the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance worked with WaterStart and its partners at the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) and the Desert Research Institute (DRI) to amplify and publicize WaterStart’s activities and accomplishments.

As a region, the southwest United States is the country’s most arid. While presenting challenges, that status also affords the region significant opportunities to develop expertise in water industry technologies to grow its economy. In helping WaterStart tell its story and shepherd business clients into the market, the LVGEA actively prioritized efforts in the innovation economy around efforts to help secure our water future for decades to come.
