Three New Members Join LVGEA Board of Directors

Las Vegas — The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance welcomes three business leaders to its board of directors.

Recently, the LVGEA board of directors took unanimous action to elect Derrick R. Hill, Vice President of Cox Business and Hospitality Network, Las Vegas; John Cannito, Chief Operating Officer, The PENTA Building Group; and Paul Caudill, CEO of NV Energy, to join the board.

Hill, Cannito and Caudill will help continue to build public and private sector relationships to bolster a new economy in Southern Nevada for long-term economic sustainability.

“These three Southern Nevada executives enhance our board of directors and provide specific perspectives related to economic development,” said Missy Young, chairman of the LVGEA board of directors and executive vice president of colocation at Switch. “Derrick, John and Paul add a strong business sense to our board that will only help strengthen our business outreach efforts.”

The LVGEA board of directors consists of 26 members of the Southern Nevada community, all of whom are dedicated to economic and community development. The board includes a mix of elected officials and business executives whose acumen and expertise in different business sectors aid efforts to improve the economy and community.
