Nevada grows IT sector with the expansion of Stixis Technologies

India-based technology services, consulting and business solutions organization Stixis Technologies will open a 4,000 sq. ft. innovation center headquarters in Southern Nevada and will create 136 jobs over the next two years and a total of 415 jobs over the next five years.

“After examining multiple locations throughout the western states, we chose Nevada not only because of the economic incentives offered, but because of the overall pro-business climate of the state,” said Stixis Technologies President and CEO Rayudu Dhananjaya.

“Our unique up-skilling and training strategy, coupled by our recognized thought leadership, will enable the company to hire and train local Southern Nevadans to provide advanced technology services to the global clients in some of the leading disruptive platforms,” said Stixis Technologies Partner and Chief Innovation Officer Bhavyesh Virani.

The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance assisted Stixis Technologies in accessing state incentive programs. Additionally, introductions were made by the LVGEA for Stixis Technologies with the Nevada System of Higher Education, including the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; the College of Southern Nevada and Nevada State College.

“We are excited about the expansion of Stixis Technologies, as it will be significant in the continued growth of the information technology industry in Southern Nevada,” said LVGEA Chief Operating Officer Jared Smith. “Not only will it bring more high-paying jobs, but it will help to further diversify the region.”

Founded in 2009, Stixis Technologies provides services to business in regards to computer programming, applications development, project management, business analysis services, quality testing, business process outsourcing and more.

The company works with clients across a range of sectors, including oil and gas, healthcare, digital media and entertainment, education, retail and government. It is currently working to establish a “Robotic Process Automation” (RPA) Center of Excellence by partnering on various RPA tools and products to service clients across North America.

In 2014, Stixis Technologies brought its first software center to the United States in Baton Rouge, La.
