McCarran Logo 301 McCarran International Airport serves more than 40 million customers every year, and handles 600,000 pounds of arriving/departing cargo each day. More importantly, the airport offers nonstop flights to and from nearly every major metros in the United States as well as several in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Union_Pacific_Logo.svg Union Pacific rail connection plays an essential role in carrying the world’s freight from the two largest ports on the West Coast to America’s Heartland and beyond.  Since before Las Vegas was incorporated as a city, the Union Pacific rail line has served as an important trade route, connecting Southern California to Southern Nevada to all points east. Additionally, a spur from the Union Pacific rail line runs on McCarran Airport property, creating opportunities for seamless multi-modal cargo distribution.

A 200,000 square-foot freight and distribution facility, the Marnell Air Cargo Center opened in the fall 2010 offering build-to-suit suites for tenants. The Marnell Air Cargo Center sits on approximately 19 acres near McCarran International Airport’s Terminal 3 and is less than one mile away from the I-215 beltway and a Union Pacific rail spur.


FTZ Foreign Trade Zone #89 offers a great advantage to companies when it comes to duty fees, taxes and international shipping costs. Companies can use FTZs for both warehousing and distribution operations. Companies can also use an FTZ for manufacturing operations with specific authorization by the U.S. FTZ Board.

tjx-logo TJX, the parent company of the TJ Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods brands, is one of the largest distribution operations in Southern Nevada. With more than 700,000-square-feet of warehouse space and an additional 400,000-square-feet on the way, TJX has found a value proposition in North Las Vegas.

Today, the company is thriving, operating in over 1,000,000-square-feet of industrial space, employing hundreds of people and making use of the LVGEA’s Foreign Trade Zone to streamline operations and save money.
bed bath and beyond  Bed Bath & Beyond, one of the largest home goods retailers in America, recently finished work on a 300,000-square-foot state-of-the-art distribution center in North Las Vegas. The LVGEA assisted the company with real estate and tax incentives.
Bodybuilding.com_logo BodyBuilding.com was originally attracted to Southern Nevada because of the annual Mr. Olympia competition, an annual event held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and several several properties on or near the strip.  After conducting a nationwide search, the fast growing company selected North Las Vegas as the location for its western distribution center. The LVGEA was instrumental in the expansion of the company into the region.

The FedEx Express operation is located in the Marnell Airport Center adjacent to McCarran International Airport while the 296,000-square-foot FedEx Ground facility is located in West Henderson along the I-15 corridor.
southwest-airlines-logo  With over 1,400 flights a week to and from McCarran International Airport, Southwest Airlines is the largest carrier in Southern Nevada. Southwest Airlines Cargo is also the largest tenant in the Marnell Airport Center.
