LVGEA Commends Work of the SAGE Commission

The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) announced today the passing of a resolution commending the transparent process and work of the Spending and Government Efficiency (SAGE) Commission. LVGEA’s Policy Committee passed a resolution this week that applauds the members of the SAGE Commission for exploring strategies designed to improve efficiencies, cost reduction and the overall educational delivery system in Nevada’s K-12 public schools.

“Improving our education system and developing our future workforce continue to be a top priority for the LVGEA,” said Raymond Specht, chair of the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance’s Policy Committee. “The work of the SAGE Commission and its members, including the assessment of fiscal management best practices, is laudable. Many of the findings of the Commission will better Nevada’s business attraction, retention and expansion efforts, and create a greater return on investment for companies doing business in our state.”
