LVGEA Announces Hornbuckle as Keynote Dinner Speaker


Hornbuckle to speak about how the state’s largest employer is going global; Governor Brian Sandoval to also address the gathering

(Las Vegas) – The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance announced today that Bill Hornbuckle, president and chief marketing officer of MGM Resorts International, will be the keynote speaker for the inaugural LVGEA annual dinner, scheduled for Friday, Nov. 15 at ARIA Resort & Casino.

Hornbuckle, a 34-year veteran of the gaming industry, has been president of MGM Resorts International since December of 2012.  In that role, he provides corporate oversight for all marketing functions across MGM Resorts International’s properties. Hornbuckle also serves on the Board of Directors of MGM China Holdings Limited, and has been key to MGM’s expansion into the Chinese market. Hornbuckle will speak about how MGM Resorts International is leveraging its expertise in the Las Vegas resort market to become the world’s leading resort company.

Hornbuckle will join Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval and LVGEA President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Skancke in addressing the event’s gathering.

No-host cocktails begin at 5 p.m. with the dinner program beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $250 per person, or $2,500 per table of ten. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
