Public Relations Specialist
As Public Relations Specialist, Danielle Smith manages all communications, public relations and social media efforts for Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance.
Originally from Long Island, NY, Danielle earned her B.A. in English with a Writing Concentration from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, graduating cum laude. Upon graduating, she relocated to Las Vegas to help create and facilitate a number of community services, including two bimonthly farmers markets through Three Square Food Bank. The free food distribution events have supplied more than half a million pounds of food to in-need neighborhoods. While assisting to establish these programs, she began her public relations career at Kirvin Doak Communications, Nevada’s largest communications agency. There, she worked on the launch teams of high-profile events such as T-Mobile Arena, home of the Vegas Golden Knights; Park MGM, the newest hotel-casino on The Strip; MGM Springfield, New England’s first integrated resort; and much more.
In supporting LVGEA’s mission to strengthen Southern Nevada’s economy, Danielle feels privileged to become part of another team shaping the landscape of Las Vegas, bridging a passion for community development with her communications skill set.
