Vice President of Economic Develpment
Chris Zunis serves as Vice President of Economic Development in the beginning of 2019. He is charged with attracting new diversified industries to Southern Nevada and is currently heading up the prospect generation segment of the organization. In his career, has helped create thousands of high-paying jobs for the local community that will continue to bring hundreds of millions of dollars of economic impact to the area for years to come. In the past 14 years, Chris has assisted over 140 new and expanding companies that are now operating in Southern Nevada such as GE Transportation, TH Foods, Foliot Furniture, Evergreen Recycling, SolarCity, U.S. Micro Corporation, The Pepsi Bottling Group and First Solar. He has successfully presented over 56 companies to the Governor’s Economic Development Incentive Board, resulting in those companies relocating to Southern Nevada.
Chris moved to Las Vegas from Centerville, Ohio in the summer of 1999 and feels that no other city in America offers an equal quality of life and pro-business climate, and that is why he considers Las Vegas his home.
