During Q1, we assisted in the growth of nearly 2,000 new jobs; added five members to our Board of Directors; and completed research that identifies a new set of high-growth, target industries for Southern Nevada.
The LVGEA recently approved five additions to its now 45-member Board of Directors, which is largest C-level business board in Southern Nevada, consisting of the region’s top public, private, business and community leaders who are helping the organization work towards its mission of expanding and diversifying the regional economy.
With the assistance of the LVGEA, three companies—Sunshine Minting, Inc.; Astound Group and Moen Incorporated—will expand in Southern Nevada and are projected to create more than 300 jobs over the next five years.
